New London Based Office

Assembly Voting has opened a London based office. Efforts are already under way to establish ourselves on the British market for democratic infrastructure.

Despite different democratic cultures and regulations the electoral systems still have to comply with the same fundamental requirements, both according to the structure of the technical solutions, and the practical procedures relating to completion and control of the voting processes.

”It is a great challenge, but years of experience from a wide range of elections within Danish municipalities, unions and associations has given us a solid foundation for establishing ourselves on the British market,” states CEO Jacob Gyldenkærne, Aion Assembly Voting

Initially the focus is directed at the trade organizations and unions, who use ”private voting”. According to CEO Jacob Gyldenkærne there is a great potential for Assembly Voting’s election and participation solutions on the British market in the years to come:

”The current English market is in many ways similar to the Danish market for elections, before the elections seriously were made electronic from 2008 to 2010. Our experiences with transforming electoral processes from traditional paper ballots to hybrid voting and e-voting gives us a remarkable advantage as a provider of election solutions on a changing market”

Assembly Voting is looking forward to the new challenges with establishing our election and participation solutions on the British market.
